Validating the IAMS Framework

چکیده
The wide spread of services on the internet has aggravated the issue of maintaining multiple identities such as the virtual identities that are based on specific login credentials like username, passwords and PINs. On the other hand, multiple physical identities also prove to be difficult to maintain since different sources require the presence of different smart cards, mobile devices or other proofs of identities. This paper addresses the problem of how to design an optimum user experience for Integrating Physical and Virtual Identity Access Management System (IAMS) by combining theories in three research perspectives: Security, which includes identity; User Experience, comprising Usability; and Acceptability, containing Accessibility. Existing research in this area tend to focus on one of these research perspectives. However, there is little evidence that researchers have approached the issue of an overlap and conflict between these three research perspectives with the intent of building a cohesive understanding of Integrating Physical and Virtual IAMSs in egovernment domain and the relationships that exist between the different dimensions and components. Consequently, this research has developed a conceptual IAMS Framework for Integrating Physical and Virtual IAMS, and used expert evaluations for validating the components of the framework.

Positive involuntary autobiographical memories: You first have to live them
Involuntary autobiographical memories (IAMs) are typically discussed in the context of negative memories such as trauma 'flashbacks'. However, IAMs occur frequently in everyday life and are predominantly positive. In spite of this, surprisingly little is known about how such positive IAMs arise. The trauma film paradigm is often used to generate negative IAMs. Recently an equivalent positive fi...

Abstract: This research has been done to develop and validate an instructional design model based on mental model theory. Based on mental model theory human being can do reasoning and problem solving through mental models. The main purpose of this model is to help pupils construct mental models, gain expertise and promote problem solving. In order to develop this model and response to research ...
متن کاملInteraction Abstract Machines
In this paper, we introduce the metaphor of Interaction Abstract Machines (IAMs), in the same vein of such metaphors as the Chemical Abstract Machine. The main point about IAMs is in allowing interactions among independent, locally deened subsystems | a crucial requirement for capturing the global behavior of open systems. IAMs amalgamate dual concepts in distributed problem solving, such as bl...

The current research was aimed mainly at constructing and validating the teachers’ professional competence evaluation instrument through descriptive correlational research method. The statistical population consisted of all primary school teachers employed by the city of Kerman’s board of education in the year 2015 – 2016. Participants of the study included 300 teachers selected via cluster sam...
متن کاملThe Effects of Instruction on the Frequency and Characteristics of Involuntary Autobiographical Memories
The present study investigated the effects of experimental instruction on the retrieval of involuntary autobiographical memories (IAMs). In previous studies of IAMs, participants were either instructed to record only memories (henceforth, the restricted group) or any thoughts (henceforth, the unrestricted group). However, it is unknown whether these two different types of instructions influence...
